Exploring Noah’s Ark in NMB

With two small kids, I don’t get out much on my own anymore. With that said, I have been slacking on my second-hand store reviews. But as my kids get a little older, I have slowly been venturing out. So I finally was able to visit Noah’s Ark in North Myrtle Beach and I was pleasantly surprised with what I found. Noah’s Ark is a baby store that offers gently-used items as well as baby equipment rental. I’ve driven by this store hundreds of times and was very excited to finally stop in for a visit. Don’t let the strange parking situation or the bright green color deter you from going in.

Noah’s Ark is owned by a very sweet family, who loves a good bargain, just as much as anyone. Stephannie, along with her mom and dad run the store and I felt like I was welcomed into their family with open arms. I really enjoyed browsing their clean, organized store and if you were looking for something specific, the owners knew exactly where to find it, if they had it. I happen to be on the hunt for a giraffe stuffed animal for my son. Guess what? They had one! I was already thrilled to find exactly what I was looking for, then I was even more thrilled when she lowered the price to $2. The owner said that stuffed animals don’t sell that well, so she was happy to give me a deal. I should have gotten two, since Noah’s Ark they come in pairs, right? Ha ha!

One of the really neat and unique things at this store is the opportunity to rent baby equipment, especially for those on vacation. I mean, who really wants to haul all of their huge pieces of baby equipment to the beach? High chairs, bouncers, strollers – they’ve got it, so you don’t have to cram yours into your car or try to figure it out on the airplane. It’s such a convenience to be able to borrow some else’s for a short time and truly enjoy your vacation, even with kids!

Noah’s Ark sells gently used items for babies and children. Some of these items include toys, clothing, shoes, bath stuff, blankets and equipment. They seem to have a huge selection of shoes and clothing, from newborn to toddler sizes. They also offer new items for sale, such as beach toys, name mugs, and Melissa and Doug puzzles. So, if you haven’t been before, you should go.
