So I started a new job this month and my first thought was, “I need to get some new clothes.” However, since I am trying my Clothing Challenge, I am going to try and stick to it. Well, I will be honest with my readers, I have CHEATED!
Pants have been the hardest item for me to find second-hand. I know I’ve only been to a handful of stores, but I was desperate. I bought a pair at Wal-Mart for $19 – BUT guess what, they are still in my closet with the tags on them. I bought these 2 weeks ago and I’m challenging myself not to wear them until I find a pair second-hand.
So far, no luck. I tried several actual stores and even eBay, but I think my size is either popular or not. I wear a size 12-long pants and they HAVE to be long or else I look like I was in a flood. Luckily my new job is business casual and I can wear jeans too. My first week on the job – I did great and was not tempted to rip the tags off those Wal-Mart Cheater Pants. I think even if I don’t find the pants, I will return them. $19 is expensive for pants at Wal-Mart, don’t you think? Besides I wasn’t entirely crazy about how they fit, so that is making my decision easier.
I want to be truthful about my experiences, otherwise what is the point? A new job and even a new season of fashion lures me to the mall to simply look, but I’m doing research and then hoping to find the same or similar style at a second-hand store.
I WILL FIND PANTS!

You can do it!!!
If you pull the tags off and wear them, then while you’re at work the butt is going to rip, so you might as well just take them back
